Who I work with

Sound familiar?

  • You've lost the weight before. Then work got busy, and a few months later you were back at square one.
  • You're paying for a gym you've stopped going to, because nobody notices when you miss a week.
  • You've tried the classes, the apps and the plans. Each one worked for a while.
  • You're organised all day. Then you get home from work, and the food undoes most of it.

None of this is an emergency. It just quietly costs you another year.

You still have to do the work. My job is to make sure it's the right work.

Online coach or local trainer?

An hour in the gym isn't the hard part. The other 167 hours are.

A personal trainer near you gives you an hour or two a week on the gym floor. That's useful if you need someone beside you for every rep.

Most people I talk to don't have that problem. They know how to train. What goes wrong is the rest of the week: the food, the busy fortnight at work, the trip away, the plan that quietly stops.

That's what online coaching covers. You get your training and your nutrition in one plan, built around your week. I review your progress at each check-in, give you honest feedback and change the plan when it needs changing.

What you get

  • Comprehensive blood work at the start, so the plan is built on data
  • Training built around your week, at the gym or at home
  • Nutrition built around food you like, with meals out planned in
  • Regular check-ins, feedback and adjustments from me, not a junior coach
  • Progress you can see: photos, measurements, your weight trend and your strength

When a local trainer is the better choice

If you want someone standing beside you counting reps every session, book a trainer near you. Online coaching suits people who'll train on their own once they know exactly what to do and why.

The Remove To Improve method

How coaching works, in three steps.

  1. Find what's holding you back

We go through your goals, your schedule, your training history and the food you enjoy, and we run comprehensive blood work at the start.

You get a clear picture of what's really in the way.

  2. Remove it. Build what works.

We cut what isn't helping. Then we build your training and nutrition around your goals and your real week, at the gym or at home.

You get a plan you can follow, and you know exactly what to do.

  3. Adjust as you go. Keep progressing.

Regular check-ins and honest feedback. When work gets busy or you travel, we adjust the plan. You don't start again.

You get results that keep coming, with someone in your corner.

Questions

Good questions to ask before you book.

Do I need to live near you?
No. Your plan, your check-ins and your calls with me all happen online, so you can train wherever suits you, anywhere in Ireland or abroad.
Do I need a gym membership?
Not necessarily. What's ideal depends on your goals, but I work with whatever equipment you have, whether that's a full gym or a few bits at home. If that changes because you move, travel or lose access to the gym, the plan changes with it.
Is an online coach as good as a personal trainer?
It depends on what you need. A personal trainer gives you an hour beside you in the gym. Online coaching covers your whole week: training, nutrition, check-ins and adjustments. If your problem is staying consistent and knowing what to do, online coaching usually fits better. If you want someone counting reps beside you, book a local trainer.
How many days a week will I need to train?
There's no set number. It depends on your goals, how much time you genuinely have and how well you're recovering. For a lot of busy people that means a few focused sessions a week, not something every day. It still takes consistency. It just shouldn't take over your life.
Do I have to give up meals out and a drink at the weekend?
No. Dinner with friends, a few drinks at a wedding, a takeaway on a Friday: these are part of normal life, so they're planned in, not banned. What matters is the pattern across your week, not any single meal.
How much does coaching cost?
There's more than one coaching option, and the right one depends on your goals and the level of support you need. On the call, once I understand what you're looking for, I'll tell you exactly what any option I recommend costs before you decide anything. There's no obligation to sign up.
